Susan Olston

Susan has been an accountant in public practise for more than 30 years and has been involved with a family retail business for almost 30 years. She is experienced in most aspects of running a small business, particularly finance, general management and HR.

As a chartered accountant with many years’ experience in public practice, Susan has worked with small businesses as an accountant and a business owner. She has been involved in small business management, various forms of taxation and a number of computer accounting packages. Susan has a proven track record of training, mentoring and team motivation. After a number of years in public practice, in particular the taxation area, she is now seeking a new challenge.

Susan’s family has operated various retail businesses since the mid-1980s. She has been involved with the day-to-day financial and general management roles. She has also experienced the issues involved in starting up a business and acquiring existing businesses. Both of Susan’s roles have given her considerable experience in HR matters.
