With 25 years’ experience in accounting, Niranjan focuses on factors that enable small businesses to maximise sustainable cash flows and profitability. He uses a ‘holistic value chain’ approach, drawing on his own managerial and finance expertise. Niranjan looks at strategy and its implementation, identifying any gaps and aligning structure, skills, staff, systems, style and shared values. He investigates each business process to access its value-add to the bottom line and uses key performance indicators and ratio analysis to enable the business to maximise working capital. Niranjan also encourages a revisit of the business’s value proposition and its competitive landscape to understand the owner’s vision and whether it aligns with the business. This structured approach enables long-term solutions, whether the business is a start-up or an established business wanting to improve its bottom line.
