Simon Smith

With extensive experience helping to develop emerging businesses in the entertainment industry, Simon believes passionately in identifying and strengthening the essential foundations that are critical to the success of any business.

These include: strategic planning, industry positioning, branding, market/customer identification and promotion/advertising strategies. The financial component of every business is critical to its success so grant writing and crowd-funding can be valuable considerations that compliment traditional funding sources.

Most recently, he has worked in course development and lecturing in the tertiary education sector and has graduates succeeding at the highest levels in leading organisations in the music industry. Simon's varied entertainment industry experience gives him a deep understanding of the demands of highly competitive and often difficult industries and particularly enjoys working with start-ups to ensure that they are established with solid foundations.

Simon has the ability to see the big picture and identify businesses opportunities that can be maximised through short, mid and long term strategies.
