I have a broad background in the manufacturing sectors covering plastics, steel, paper and componentry for the building industry. Spent time overseas investigating new technology and working in a joint venture.

Qualifications in engineering and manufacturing management.

I have held senior management roles in a number of large Australian companies as well as being a Partner/General Manager in two small businesses.

Responsibility has been for up to 350 staff on multi-site plants covering all functional aspects of business including sales and marketing, manufacturing, quality, logistics, engineering, product development and finance.

I have gravitated to businesses that have required a range of issues to be addressed including profitability, strategic reviews, organisational restructures and introduction of new technology.I also like working with owners on succession planning where required.
I have also addressed the aspects of costs, marketing, and selling of product at a profit to the business.

My key strengths are people management skills and profit orientation along with the capacity to adapt to new technologies, products and processes all of which fast track my introduction to a new business.
