Treat people the way in which you wish to be treated. This is the philosophy I live by and one that has always worked for me whether it be in my role as freelance writer, small business mentor or volunteer.
Throughout my career my focus has always been on providing exemplary service to all those I work with. As a results orientated, logical, systematic and organised individual I have extensive experience built over a 20-year career in marketing and communications in the public and private sectors. In more recent years I have focused on offering my expertise in writing, editing and desktop publishing as a freelance writer, working with a diverse range or clients. In addition, my experience extends further to local government as a local councillor, as a business operator and a dedicated volunteer.
I’m a current member of the Casey/Cardinia Women in Business Network, Nar Nar Goon Adult Riding Club, President of the Tonimbuk Equestrian Club, member of the local Landcare group, member of the Angus Society of Australia and a volunteer with Riding for the Disabled. I have also recently taken on an executive committee role for the 2009 Tom Quilty Gold Cup Endurance Ride.
My interests include horses (riding), beef cattle farming, home entertaining, gardening, the environment and community work.
