The Small Business Mentoring Service (SBMS) comprises a wide variety of successful business persons, many recently retired, who have experience in small business, either from running their own or working in an organisation with strong links to small business. Mentors enjoy helping small businesses to overcome hurdles, develop and prosper and they gain personal satisfaction and pleasure at “putting something back into business” which is why they give their time voluntarily.
SBMS has approx 70 Mentors, both male and female. For each Mentor you can view their C.V., their areas of expertise, their availability, where they are located and any travel costs that might apply.
You will get the most benefit by choosing a Mentor who has the right business disciplines and industry experience to suit the needs of your business. On the next Search for a Mentor sub-menu you can enter the business disciplines and industry experience you seek and the search engine will offer you up to 8 Mentors who best fit your criteria. You can then view their C.V.s.
Alternatively, on the Browse all our Mentors sub-menu you can simply view Mentors of your own choice and look at their C.V.s. In both cases there is a short cut so you can go on to make a booking.
